Who this series is for
Small-business owners who already sell to private customers and are evaluating whether government contracting (federal, state, or local) is worth pursuing. Existing SBA-certified small businesses (WOSB, ED-WOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, VOSB, SDVOSB) who want to convert their certification into actual awards. Subcontractors who want to team with primes on set-asides.
The series is hosted by Patrice Dozier (Economic Development Specialist, SBA Georgia District Office) with featured guests from across the small-business ecosystem.

Why Norvet MSP is attending Parts 2 and 5
Part 2 (June 29) is the highest-value session for us: it covers the SBA certifications, including SDVOSB, where we already operate. We attend partly to learn how Patrice Dozier and SCORE Georgia are framing the certifications for the 2026 buying cycle, and partly to meet other certified firms (8(a), WOSB, HUBZone) we can team with on opportunities where stacking categories matters.
Part 5 (August 10) is the seasoned-operator session. The post-mortem framing tends to surface the kind of inside knowledge that does not show up in FAR text. Worth the morning.
Meet Norvet MSP at Part 2 (June 29)
If you are an SDVOSB, WOSB, 8(a), or HUBZone firm in Georgia or the Southeast and you want to talk teaming for federal IT, cabling, low-voltage, or CMMC work, drop us a note before June 29 and we will look for you in the session.
Learn more about the underlying certifications: see our explainers on SDVOSB, federal set-asides, and 8(a) vs HUBZone.
